Exam Rules

Examinations at Yenepoya World School are designed to evaluate understanding, not just memorization. We follow a comprehensive and continuous assessment system that helps measure both academic progress and skill development throughout the year.

Guidelines for Students

  • All students must maintain a minimum attendance requirement to be eligible for examinations.
  • Any case of unfair means or malpractice will lead to strict disciplinary action.
  • In case of illness or emergency during exams, medical certificates must be submitted for consideration.
  • Students must carry their school ID cards and necessary stationery during every examination.
  • The school encourages timely submission of assignments and projects, which are also graded components of evaluation.

We believe in nurturing confidence rather than exam stress. Our teachers continuously guide students with mock tests, feedback sessions, and learning reviews, ensuring holistic performance enhancement.

Language Policy

Language is more than a means of communication — it is the bridge to understanding cultures, ideas, and people.

At Yenepoya World School, we believe that multilingual education builds open-mindedness and global awareness.

Our language policy aims to strengthen proficiency in multiple languages to help students express themselves clearly, think critically, and connect globally.

  • English serves as the primary medium of instruction.
  • Hindi and Kannada are offered as second and third languages to foster regional and national integration.
  • Foreign language options such as French are introduced to help students engage with global cultures and prepare for international opportunities.
  • Communication skills — reading, writing, speaking, and listening — are continuously developed through interactive classroom activities, storytelling, debates, and creative writing sessions.

Through this multilingual approach, our students gain not only academic fluency but also cultural empathy and confidence to excel in any environment.

Assignments

Assignments at The Yenepoya World School are designed to reinforce classroom learning and encourage independent thinking. They play a key role in the continuous assessment process, helping teachers evaluate each student’s understanding, creativity, and application of knowledge.
